Winter Intensives! July 6-17
The weather is getting colder, so it's time to learn some more Spanish to warm up our hearts. Join us for Winter Intensives in the Melbourne CBD or cozy Northcote centre for two exciting weeks of study and practice. We will offer Full Elementary Levels and Conversation Courses from beginner to advanced!
Whether you want to get started, get ahead, or work on your conversation skills, we've got you covered!
In July we dedicate TWO WEEKS to our Winter Intensives. You can take a 10-HR CONVERSATION COURSE to brush up on your skills or take a whole 15-HR Elementary level! We're also offering short and sweet 4.5-HR BEGINNER CONVERSATION for those who want to practice before jumping into Elementary 2 next Term.
TIMETABLE
ELEMENTARY LEVELS
In the Winter Intensives you will be able to complete a FULL LEVEL in just 2 weeks!
We're offering our first three levels: Elementary 1 / Elementary 2 / Elementary 3
You'll be doing a 3-hr class every second weekday - the spare days are for homework, but you'll still have your weekends free!
CONVERSATION COURSES
You'll be doing a 2-hr or 1.5-hr class every second weekday.
There are five different levels of Conversation Courses:
Beginner Conversation (3 x 1.5-hour classes) – A shorter course for beginner students who have completed the Elementary 1 or El Cheapo Introductory courses. This course will help get you into the rhythm of speaking with basic grammar and vocabulary.
Elementary Conversation (5 x 2-hour classes) – reviews topics studied up to Elementary 4 (A1). Present tense conjugations, the verb gustar, reflexive verbs, introduction to the first past tense: pretérito perfecto. For Elementary 3–Lower Intermediate 2 students (or if you've completed around 60 hours of study).
Lower Intermediate Conversation (5 x 2-hour classes) – reinforces topics at Lower Intermediate (A2) levels. Pretérito indefinido, pretérito imperfecto, presente continuo (estar + gerundio), conditional, ir a + infinitivo. For Lower Intermediate 3–Upper Intermediate 2 students (or if you've completed around 135 hours of study).
Upper Intermediate Conversation (5 x 2-hour classes) – Revise content from Upper Intermediate (B1) levels. Futuro simple, presente de subjunctivo, pretérito pluscuamperfecto, imperativo and heaps more! For Upper Intermediate 3–Advanced 2 students (or if you've completed around 200 hours of study).
Advanced & Superior Conversation (5 x 2-hour classes) – Revise and practice everything! Imperfecto de subjuntivo, condicional, estilo indirecto, pluscuamperfecto de subjuntivo and more! For Advanced 3+ students (or if you've completed 260+ hours of study).
