In Term 1 this year El Patio launched it's first annual photography competition - the results surpassed all expectations! Read on to see all of the participants' photos as well as the People's Choice Top 5.
Our first annual Photography Competition was held in Term 1. And the results surpassed all expectations!
47 students participated in the competition and there was a fantastic variety of photos. Everything from flying cats in Mallorca to desiccated corpses in the deserts of Peru, misty mornings on the Camino de Santiago to mountain-top marvels in the Andes. Even some homemade Reservoir-style Sangría!
We'd like to thank all the students who participated as well as everyone who voted in the competition. It was a great success.
The winner of the competition was Megan Voo – she received a free 15-hour course.
The two runners up (Brett Millican and Cherilia Poluan) received prizes to help with their studies. Brett received a $50 gift voucher and Cherilia a lovely little Spanish<>English Langenscheidt Pocket Dictionary.
